Mission
We want to help local needy families with young children to get back on their feet
while encouraging local business and individual support and participation.
Project
We would like to add new features to our website or create an entirely new website.
We would like it to communicate what we do and to also add a secure section for
the volunteers only that would help us keep track of our programs and communicate.
Homepage - More current and relevant information that would be easy to update. Emphasized
links to our main program and the donations page. Also a Sponsor Countdown ticker
for our main program that can be updated easily.
About Us - List of the key volunteers, How we began and operate now, volunteer opportunities
available.
Programs - Adopt-a-Family Program is our main yearly project, Photo Scavenger Hunt
is a new project and we would like to add more projects over time. Each page would
need additional information about what it is and how it operates. Also we would
need information about how to participate and a sign up form.
Donations - A way for people to donate funds to our organization. One page that
incorporates third party donation capabilities.
Contact Us - Form to allow people to ask us specific questions
Blog - our blog incorporated into the site.
Dream Item
Secure Site for Internal Use that would allow the volunteers to keep track of
each family's information along with what school they are from and who (the
sponsor) they have been assigned to. It would also need to keep a PDF file for
each family.
