REGISTER OUR STUDENTS – REGISTRATION PROCESS
Currently this process is Manual on an excel spreadsheet. Parents go out and view, print and complete the application manually. This is faxed to the accounting department and entered into Quick books and EXCEL by the administrator. It is our DREAM for a future customer (old and new) to be able to register and pay online. Once a student is registered an assessment time is set-up and a class schedule is printed and emailed to the parent. Also a class picture is done. If the parents can be emailed only once with all of the above information that would be WONDERFUL!

Additional Requests (Nice to haves)

SOLICIT VOLUNTEERS
We would also like to Fully utilize our website to solicit volunteers. Currently volunteers are received via calls, emails from the Volunteer Center of North Texas or thru word of mouth. A WELCOME LETTER and ” volunteer application are emailed out and completed by potential volunteer. This is emailed or faxed back to Beacon Hill. This is entered onto an excel spreadsheet. Back ground checks are done thru an outside agency that ask for the same information. It is our DREAM to have all volunteers (Adult and student) register thru our website and this information is automatically sent to the background check agency. Also volunteers would be able to use site to find out about future volunteer opportunities. A volunteer database would be automatically updated of all past and potential future volunteers.

RECRUIT NEW EMPLOYEE”S
We would utilize our website to solicit employees. Currently future tutors, assistants and staff are received through calls, email or thru word of mouth. An employment application is sent out and completed by potential applicants. This is entered onto an excel spreadsheet. Back ground checks are done thru an side agency that ask for the same information. It is our DREAM to have all applicants register thru our website and this information is automatically sent to the background check agency. Also applicants would be able to use the site to find out about future Employment opportunities, training and updates. An employment database would be generated.
